River Valley Edge is a condominium which consists of mini units. It is located at Shanghai Road, a small left lane turning along River Valley Road, which you’ll come across as you’re driving along River Valley from Lower Delta to Clarke Quay direction.
RV Edge penthouses come in 2 floors. There is 1 bedroom on the 1st floor and a second bedroom on the 2nd floor. The bedroom on the 2nd floor is larger then that on the 1st.
All the bedrooms are connected to adjoining bathrooms.
1 good thing about living on the 2nd floor penthouse is that when you rest, you’ll be able to look out the window terrace. These gives an open feel concept where you’re sleeping close to the skyline.
The corner penthouses are the best and biggest, at 1066 sq ft. Its balcony terrace, where you can chill is the largest as well. The lower bedroom also increases in size proportionally.
The other penthouses that fall between 910 sq ft to 970sq ft have the 1st floor bedroom smaller then the 1066 sq ft one. This is the main difference that can be felt.
Here’s a breakdown of the penthouse sizes in sqft.
- 640 to 700
- 700 to 800
- 800 to 900
- 900 to 1000
Penthouse units within their respective sizes 100 sq ft size feels about the same. So if I could choose between a 720 sqft penthouse and a 790 penthouse that’s within the 700 to 800 range, I’ll probably go for the 720 one which is cheaper, since that additional 70 sqft doesn’t seemingly make a difference and the total unit size falls below 800.
You’ll feel the difference in space once you cross every 100 square ft. For example, comparing, a 720 penthouse and 820 penthouse, I would pay for that additional 100 sqyare ft space, because the unit size is now in the 800 sq ft range and the room becomes noticeably larger.
If you’re getting a RV Edge penthouse, consider getting one that is between 710 to 853 in size, these rooms are generally spacious and comfortable enough. Plus you’ll get to enjoy the view that belong to penthouse owners. Its a good balance of size and scenery view.
